Hmong Network offers various shipping options for sellers, including Free Shipping, Flat Rate, Table Rate, and Local Delivery. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to set up and use these shipping options:

Free Shipping

  1. In your Marketplace Dashboard, Go to Settings > Shipping.
  2. Select Domestic under Shipping Zone and click Edit.
  3. Click Add Shipping Method and select Free Shipping from the dropdown.
  4. Add the shipping method and click Edit to configure the free shipping method for that specific shipping zone.
  5. Method Title (Default: Free Shipping)
  6. Minimum order amount for free shipping (Default: 0)
  7. Save Settings

Free shipping improves the customer experience and acts as a marketing tool to encourage more sales. The costs may be high, but the potential revenue upside is higher.

Flat Rate Shipping

  1. In your Marketplace Dashboard, Go to Settings > Shipping.
  2. Select Domestic under Shipping Zone and click Edit.
  3. In the Shipping Methods box, click Add Shipping Method.
  4. Select Flat Rate shipping from the dropdown and click Add Shipping Method.
  5. Click Edit to set up your Flat Rate costs.
  6. Title (Default: Flate Rate)
  7. Cost (Set you own cost)

Flat rate shipping simplifies eCommerce shipping for both merchants and shoppers. The fixed pricing provides predictability and makes the buying experience smoother.

Table Rate Shipping

  1. In your Marketplace Dashboard, Go to Settings > Shipping.
  2. Select Domestic under Shipping Zone and click Edit.
  3. In the Shipping Methods box, click Add Shipping Method.
  4. Select Table Rate shipping from the dropdown and click Add Shipping Method.
  5. Click Edit to set up your Table Rate costs and rules.
  6. Method Title (Default: Table Rate)
  7. Tax Status (Required – Set this as Taxable)
  8. Customize your settings
  9. Save Settings

Table rate shipping provides a more customized and fairer approach to shipping costs compared to one-size-fits-all flat rate shipping. The added flexibility and control allows merchants to tailor shipping to their specific products, customers, and business model.

Local Delivery

  1. In your Marketplace Dashboard, Go to Settings > Shipping.
  2. Select Domestic under Shipping Zone and click Edit.
  3. In the Shipping Methods box, click Add Shipping Method.
  4. Select Local Delivery from the dropdown and click Add Shipping Method.
  5. Click Edit to set up your Local Delivery costs and rules.
  6. Method Title: (Default: Local Delivery)
  7. Tax Status (Required – Set this as Taxable)
  8. Customize your settings
  9. Save Settings
