Hello! I’m Betsy and I am Hmong American. I was born in CA but raised in MN. I am in my 30s, a women of God, and am happily married. Together, my husband and I have an adorable 70 lbs. Pitbull mix. Fun fact: We met working together at the same salon! I specialize in wedding hair and in haircutting. I cut men, women, and children hair in St. Paul, MN. I offer complimentary consultations if you would like to meet before you book me for your wedding OR if you would like to get a haircut/trim before you big day!
My passion for “doing hair” is more than just playing with hair- It’s about being able to create a safe space for someone, forming a connection, and boosting their confidence. I believe God gave me the gift of creativity and artistic abilities to serve other- which is why 1 Corinthians 16:14 resonates with me and my line of work. Just like the old sayings goes, if you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life.
When I am not working behind the chair you can find me at home playing with my dog, binge watching old TV shows, e-biking or riding a moped, or making a mess in my house when I start crafting (I am OBSESSED with my Cricut!).
