My Journey

My journey into photography began in 2017, following the passing of my dearest brother. This life-changing event made me realize how few photos we had shared together and how many memories we had missed capturing. This realization inspired me to start Precious Photoworks, a name that reflects the importance of cherishing every moment in life.

“Precious” represents the value of living life to the fullest, being grateful for life’s blessings, and acknowledging the unknown future that we all face. It also honors my brother Por Xiong, who left us too soon. “Photoworks” is a nod to my sister’s photography business, Alluring Photoworks by Za Xiong, as a way to thank her for inspiring me to pursue photography.
