Hello! I'm Betsy and I am Hmong American. I was born in CA but raised in MN. I am in my 30s, a women of God, and am happily married. Together, my husband and I have an adorable 70 lbs. Pitbull mix. Fun fact: We met working together at the same salon! I specialize in wedding hair and in haircutting. I cut men, women, and children hair in St. Paul, MN. I offer complimentary consultations if you would like to meet before you book me for your wedding OR if you would like to get a haircut/trim before you big day! My passion for "doing hair" is more than just playing with hair- It's about being able to create a safe space for someone, forming a connection, and boosting their confidence. I believe God gave me the gift of creativity and artistic abilities to serve other- which is why 1 Corinthians 16:14 resonates with me and my line of work. Just like the old sayings goes, if you love what you do you'll never work a day in your life. When I am not working behind the chair you can find me at home playing with my dog, binge watching old TV shows, e-biking or riding a moped, or making a mess in my house when I start crafting (I am OBSESSED with my Cricut!).

I have been seeing Carli H for a bleach and tone for years (even did an amazing Elsa-like hair dew for my wedding!). My hair is long! And I go bright, if you are ever worried about what bleach or color will do to your hair she will help! They have great products available here and they also have great ways to help you take care of your hair on a budget out in the world! I'm in a committed 10+ year bleaching relationships with Carli, I followed her here...but everyone here will have you walking out the doors looking like a million bucks!
gabriella andersonI LOVE THIS PLACE! I see Jen the owner, & she’s so amazing and talented! I’m really grateful for what she does with my wavy, curly hair (that sometimes is also straight lol) my hair can be pretty difficult (I’ve been to stylists where I left with Dora the Explorer shaped hair which hurt my soul), also I like minimal product + low maintenance + air drying. Jen you’re hair guru 🤩🙌 All of the stylists are so personable, there’s always some fun discussion happening in the background too. If you’re looking for a new stylist book with someone here they won’t let you down 😊

Tammy NienaberJen did a fabulous job fixing my nightmare Covid hair! I've been growing out a super short pixie cut. She even recommended an amazing all-in-one product I can use to keep my low maintenance style. It's a shampoo and texturizer combined. I'm all about spending less time on my hair each day. Everyone at the salon was clearly diligent about following Covid-19 guidelines, which is highly appreciated.
