Pa VangHad a great experience at Elephant Thai Cuisine! The restaurant was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and it was a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The Pampa is an absolute must-try! It was beautifully plated with vibrant colors, fresh vegetables, and aromatic herbs that brought everything together. The pork belly was the star of the dish—perfectly crispy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside. The papaya salad was fresh and flavorful, although I personally would have liked a little more shrimp paste for an extra punch of flavor. That's just a personal preference, though. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive, with our food coming out quickly. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience with delicious food, a clean restaurant, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend giving Elephant Thai Cuisine a try!
Maia MouaExcellent Pho combo!!! The pho was bountiful with meat and shrimp and the broth was so delectable!!! The fresh spring rolls and Naab Vaam was also a hit@ our table. Both fresh and tasteful. We came all the way from Shakopee to join family for dinner here and we were truly impressed with everything offered. Service was fast and friendly. Clean and spacious dining room. Thank You so much and we’ll stop in again.
Linda YangI’ve been hearing all the hype about this place on Facebook, so today my husband and I decided to give it a try while we were in St. Paul. We placed a takeout order shortly after they opened. Right when we walked in, we were greeted by a young lady who was very friendly and welcoming. After we placed our order, the owner personally came out to let us know they were working on it. Honestly, I was really impressed by the level of customer service. From my past experiences, customer service at Hmong restaurants can be pretty minimal, so this was a pleasant surprise. Seeing the owner involved—taking orders and bringing out food—made a big difference. The restaurant was also very clean and well kept. As for the food, the standout dishes for me were the papaya salad and the kapoon. The papaya was well-balanced in flavor, and the kapoon had a rich, coconutty broth with a generous amount of meat. The pork belly laab and raw laab were okay—not bad, but not as memorable as the other dishes. Overall, great experience with both service and food. I’ll definitely be back to support again.
PhilFood was good. Not something I feel like was fantastic. Service was also ok, once server dropped off check we were pretty much invisible after. Had to flag someone down to get take out containers and the person wasn't a server. Portions were good. One thing that was very good was the coconut Boba. We'll probably try again someday but probably wont be any time soon unfortunately.
Nicky YangFood was okay, asked to sit at a bigger table, since I usually like to order a bunch of dishes. Waitress came and asked me to move to a small table. Glad she moved me. The flavors are there but not enough. Even though it looks spicy, it wasn't. Pork belly laab is not crispy or crunchy. Oddly, very wet. Drunken noodles, lacked holy basil flavor.
