NuCreationFirst time here visiting from AZ, and I’ve been craving food like this for years! We need you in AZ. I’m so thankful my friend recommended this place. I always enjoy supporting local mom-and-pop shops because they offer authentic food, and it’s the perfect location you’re not far from my in-laws. I ordered to go. The portions were very generous honestly enough to feed about six people. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced. I don’t usually eat fish curry, but it looked so good that I decided to try it and I’m glad I did. It was delicious! The flavor was smooth and well seasoned without being overly fishy. It reminded me more of a Thai red curry style. The shrimp larb and chicken dishes were both great simple, fresh, and not overly heavy on seasoning. Can’t go wrong with the sticky rice it was soft and well done. I can eat that entire dish on my own. My favorite plate was the Laos papaya salad with noodles and cabbage. The tamarind, little crabs hint and fish sauce combination really hit the spot! Overall, we loved everything. When I visit California again next year, I’ll definitely be back for more. Stay blessed!
Toua VangThis market have fresh produce, hot food ready to go, and if your a papaya lover try out their papaya and ask for the hot and spicy! But beware if you can't handle that asian chilli pepper just stay at 2 or 3 pepper. They also have afew variety of asian snack, drink, and kitchen too. Now dont be shy walk in and look around.
Laziza MooreHmong sausage and purple sticky rice was generously portioned! Was a little milder in terms of herbs and spices, but didn’t really mind. Pretty yummy stuff.
Kalvin HangXieng Khouang Market A simple Asian store. Has your typical Asian store products. Has a little cafe. Hmong food. Asian food. Laos food. Thai food. Lots of variety. Does not carry oven baked chicken and rice which is a Hmong staple. It does have papaya salad. I did order the papaya salad. Rate? Not too bad. Not high quantity but just ok. 5/10. Will keep on looking for papaya on the west coast. I have not tasted everything but help yourself. Recommended PS. It's well maintained and clean. I do give them points for keeping it clean. Did not find anything over due.
