Kane V.Just got in a little late last night and made a stop at Cups and Cheers for dinner before heading to our destination. Its been a long 10hr. Drive. Found out they had $5 special on Pho Tuesday so had to order me a bowl of course. Also order fried chicken and papaya salad lao style. Atmosphere was nice, our server she was good and tentative. Now onto the food. 1. Not sure what went wrong on the pho or do they usually serve it like that I'm not sure all I know is all it taste like was a Bowl of Hot water soup. Im not even exaggerating straight like hot water. 2. The Fried chicken has a nice battered and it came.out looking good. BUT look can be deceiving cos these got no seasoning what so ever on it, add a little salt would be nice. 3. Papaya Lao Style came out the same looks good but man was that blend also. Need some lime, msg, sugar, Tamarind the whole nine yard to bring up any flavor. Would I still go back definitely even with a low score. I don't remember it being this bad. Probably caught them on a off night. They still have other food on the menu thats usually pretty.
Tianna RussellThe food was okay, but unfortunately the service was very disappointing. We waited over an hour for our food. After about 35 minutes, our waitress finally came over to let us know they were busy and that it would be a while. However, when we first arrived, the restaurant was not busy. It wasn't until 15–20 minutes after we placed our order that it started filling up. Several tables that were seated after us received their food well before we did, which was frustrating. When our meals finally arrived, we were not given any silverware and had to wait another five minutes before we could actually start eating. Overall, the long wait and lack of attention to our table made for a disappointing dining experience.
Paj XFood - Came out cold. Nothing better than biting cold beef fatty brisket! Our pho bowls were warm, no meat and mostly noodles. Also, pho did not come with option of basil, sprouts and lime (not sure if that’s how they normally serve pho). Quality was not there with food dining in. Service - We ordered 4 meat dishes thinking rice was included and menu did not say rice not included. Server didn’t ask if we might need rice??! After entrees arrived we noticed there was no rice, so kindly ordered rice but it never came! We asked for chopsticks and server gave only one pair when 4 people were eating pho. Atmosphere was fine and we were patient but please provide basic customer service skills training for restaurant side. Hope feedback like others here can improve overall quality!
Seng YangTheir customer service was not really good because when we ordered chicken feet’s and one of their server taken a different order. We ordered to eat at the restaurant and she put to go order. Also, just hot regular water they charger as a tea. There was no tea bag in the hot water and it just regular hot water. I went to a lot of restaurants and they never charger for just a cup of warm or hot water.
bee vangI’ve been in person three times. The last in person dine in wasn’t the greatest as the food wasn’t good. Then I placed an order to go yesterday and of course I had mixed feelings. The brisket went to trash. Tough as a rock. No pepper dip. The Hmong sausage no pepper dip. Make it make sense. If you give it in person why do you not give it to the to go order. Anyways my 70 bucks trashed again. Idk why ppl can’t just be consistent when it comes to their food. Even if it’s to go. How do you get ppl to come back when things like this happens? I stopped going to unison for food bc it’s not consistent and now here. Do I over to the new restaurant that just open down the block? Maybe I have to.
