Let me take you on my journey of awakening my inner meridian lines and increasing my qi. At first I was nervous as I wasn’t familiar with the ancient art of acupuncture. The first half of my session consisted of needle work and relaxation. As I was laying on the table in this room and relaxing to the music from the traditional instrument of the guzheng, I noticed my body go into a meditation-like state where I heard the chanting calls of my ancestors grow louder while my inner meridian lines started overflowing with qi. While my body started swelling from this new found inner energy, my consciousness was flowing from reality to a higher plane of awakening. During the peak of my transcendence to the plane of my ancestors, I heard a soft knock at the door. This was where the second half of my session would start. Second half of my session consisted of cupping. If you’ve watched Jackie Chan’s Karate Kid, there’s a scene at the end where he uses this ancient technique near the end of the film. While the cups were being placed on my body, I could feel the impact of my life’s trials and tribulations flowing out of my body. This only lasted minutes but my body felt like it went through weeks of relaxation. The cupping session ended with the acupuncturist kneading out the pain points in my life. Before I knew it, I felt rejuvenated and years were lifted off my body and my mind. TLDR: went in for a recurring headache/migraine pain and left with immediate relief and the pain no longer coming back. Highly recommend. Couldn’t even feel the needles.

I went to see Pun in early December and came across her on social media. What really stood out for me initially was hearing about the awards she won locally! Of course I had to go!
