Eva Hedwig SchuelerOne of most intense pregnancy cravings has been for mango sticky rice, which is unfortunately not easy to come by. So when I saw it on the menu for The Takeout Box, I KNEW we had to go. And I'm glad we did, because everything we tried was absolutely delicious. My husband tried the Firecracker Chicken at medium spice, which was perfectly breaded and definitely had a bit of a kick without being too spicy. I ordered the glass noodles with scrambled egg, which was seasoned so well! The sauce the noodles were cooked in was incredible, but the noodles themselves weren't overly sauce-y. And, of course, for dessert we split the mango sticky rice, which was 1000% worth the drive from Ypsilanti.
L CThis is my 1st visit to The Takeout Box. I ordered the Thai Fried Rice with Chicken and the Drunken Noodles with Beef both medium hot. Both have good flavor and heat. Decent Priced and fast service. I give The Takeout Box 4 and 1/2 Stars.
Alexa Williams10/10, would recommend. no notes. I’ve lost count of how many visits I’ve made, and somehow it keeps getting better. The Pho is rich and comforting, the Bang Bang Shrimp has the perfect kick, and together they make this place an easy repeat. This is the kind of small business that deserves a full house every night. Tell your mom, your cousins, your neighbor, your coworker because nobody should be sleeping on this place.
Tam LThis was my 2nd time coming here to buy dinner. Everytime they make amazing food. I especially love the pho and mango sticky rice. Price is a bit high, but everything is amazing. I’m willing to try other types of food which I’ve never tried before. Tomyum soup was just amazing! I love how hot everything is everytime. Never been disappointed. I will come again and again. I will moving soon to a different state, and I will forever miss their food and this place.
Samual EvansFirst off, it is a 5 🌟 food experience for sure. We tried just a portion of their items for selection and loved every one of them. From the bao buns to the fries and the shrimp, it was all on point. Just delicious offerings, and I can't wait to try others. I would say that the only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars all around is that it is exactly as the its named, The Takeout Box. This place is made for quick service. Not a lot of seating, and your interaction with the staff is super quick. No complaints from our end. Totally recommend. Will absolutely be back. Most likely this week.
